After much messing around with the army list, I had a final draft of my 3000 points 40k spearhead Imperial Guards. The list is about the same as the 1750 points I posted earlier, I just added more stuff and tuned to 3000 points to form the spearheads. The list as follow…

The extra points can be fine tuned, depending on what race I am battling. On the overall, I need to count how many tanks I need to buy and paint, haha. I can see $ flooding around my head…haha. I already have a Leman Russ, and 2 unbox of demolishers, which leaves me to getting 3 more boxes of Leman Russ and 2 boxes of Manticore. Thats a total of £30 x 5 = £150. Wow, should start saving up, on second thought I do feel tempted to buy because of the recent falling pound currency…haha.
