Ghost Stories Board Game

This was an interesting project. Was tasked to paint up the miniatures for this board game, Ghost Stories. Client wanted to follow a colour scheme from one of his favourite painted sites.

The miniatures were basic soft plastic pieces with basic level of details. Unpainted they look like typical board game counters, which is boring and unexciting. There were a total of about 31 miniatures. It was a fun project, especially painting the characters. The lady was a challenge, as she wore those Chinese translucent silky clothing. Had to thin the paint few layer by layer to create that translucent effect.

Finally these boring game miniatures, spring to life with colours, and they were looking amazing. It sure made me curious about the game though.

Just a typical guy who has made painting miniatures part of his daily routine life. As long as I have time in my hands, I will paint. Even with few minutes to spare at times, I will still pick up my brushes and paint a little. Nothing beats the satisfaction when you have your miniatures all done and and ready for battle!
